First Aid at Work

For most companies sending selected employees on a first aid training course is the most responsible approach to complying with first aid legislation. An employee that has been trained by an approved organisation and holds a qualification in first aid at work is an asset to their company and helps to comply with the Health and Safety (first aid) Legislation 1981

First Aid at Work Courses

Forestry First Aid ‘+F’ - 1-2 hours

Forestry First Aid is an add-on to the (Emergency) First Aid at Work courses and covers additional subjects that might be encountered by Forestry workers.

First aid at Work Annual Refresher - 3 hours

Annual Basic Skills Refresher Training is strongly recommended by the Health and safety Executive for first aiders who hold a 3 day First Aid at Work, 2 day First Aid at Work Requalification or a 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work qualification. This can also be taught as a Basic Life Support course.

First Aid at Work Requalification Level 3 - 12 hours (2 days)

A requalification course to maintain your First Aid at Work qualification. Suitable for high hazard environments and working conditions that require comprehensive first aid cover such as factories, building sites and companies with high numbers of staff.

Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 VTQ - 1 day (6 hours)

EFAW is suitable for low hazard environments and working conditions that require basic first aid cover. For example small offices and companies with a low number of staff or teachers of small groups of adults.
No previous first aid experience is required to attend this course.

First Aid at Work Level 3 - 3 days (18 hours)

Suitable for high hazard environments and working conditions that require comprehensive first aid cover such as in factories or on building sites and companies with high numbers of staff. No previous first aid experience is required to attend this course.
