Paris offers free first aid training following terror attacks last year
Following the terror attacks in Paris on 13th November 2015 the government has organised a range of free first aid training courses.
These courses are designed to better prepare the Paris people in case of future attacks.
So far some 3,200 people have attended the training in Paris.
The two-hour sessions are being held in every district of Paris and aim to teach participants how to react in emergency situations.
“We must all know the five or six basic techniques that will help protecting the population if ever there are other attacks,” said Dr. Patrick Pelloux, an emergency room doctor.
Officials plan to repeat the training at least once a year.
The course was approved by the Paris city Council following last November’s attacks that killed 130 people and injured a further 386 in the French capital.
