This course covers the safe use of defibrillators or AEDs. This course will train you in the safe use of all commonly available public access defibrillators that are available in the UK. This course also covers CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) and Basic Life Support.

Public Access Automated External Electrical Defibrillation is well established and a highly effective therapy for cardiac arrest. The most important aspect of survival is the time from collapse to delivery of the first shock from a Defibrillator. The availability of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) is widespread and is considered a standard piece of first aid equipment in many locations from airlines, shopping centres and leisure facilities.

Our training is very practical and hands on with a typically 70% practical to just 30% theory. Our courses do not rely upon the usual ‘death by PowerPoint’, instead we use progressive incident scenario based training methods.
